My manager kept postponing my appraisal meeting. He refused to allow me to attend appraisal training that would have prepared me for the appraisal meeting. He gave me some low ratings that I feel I did not deserve. There is no one I can appeal to about this unfairness. My manager talked over seventy percent of the time during the appraisal meeting. It did not feel like a dialogue between two people but a monologue from my manager. I did not get a chance to say how I felt my job was developing or what training I needed.

Review of old system and development of new appraisal system. Training of staff and managers in new system. Monitoring and evaluation of new system.

Staff feel more motivated and have higher job satisfaction and they become more productive.
